The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, VA heard oral argument in U.S. v. Moussaoui in September. The Court must decide whether to overturn the conviction of September 11th conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui. Moussaoui's attorneys argued that his guilty plea was invalid, because he was denied potentially helpful evidence to his case and restricted in choosing his own counsel. If the conviction is overturned, Moussaoui's attorneys will seek a new trial.
